If you don’t have time to peruse all 23 fashionistas’ picks, don’t worry. Below I have highlighted some of the major trends from the Shopping Guide. Happy shopping!

Trend: GOLD!

Nothing is better than some shimmery gold to brighten up those cold winter days and Anna Dello Russo (Fashion Director at Large, Vogue Nippon) had a plethora of options in this bold metallic. My favorites included the Moschino “Gold Peccary Leather Fringe Coat” ($4,345) and the Christian Louboutin “Bridget’s Back Platform Shoe” ($3, 965).

Trend: Fur

Rachel Zoe (stylist, reality tv star, designer) was all about the fur this fall. A personal favorite was the Chanel “Wool Light Gray Patch Coat” ($8,635). Not trying to spend big bucks on fur? Several stores have more wallet-friendly options. Check out Forever 21’s” 3/4 Slv Cropped Faux Fur Jacket” ($29.80) for example.

Trend: Cargo Pants

Natalie Massenet (Chairman and Founder of net-a-porter) listed JBrand’s “Houlihan Low-rise Skinny Cargos” ($240) as a personal favorite. Again, cargo pants are all the rage this winter, and there are cheaper options for those on a budget. Old Navy’s “Ankle-zip Skinny ‘Citizen Surplus’ Cargos” are a great find.

No matter what your personal style,’s Fall 2010 Shopping Guide has something for everyone!

Summer 2010 Shopping Guide

Looking for the latest trends to spice up your summer wardrobe? Look no further.’s “Summer 2010 Shopping Guide” is a comprehensive collection of all that is hot cet été. Whether you are traveling halfway across the globe, or just kickin’ it at your favorite spot by the sea, this Shopping Guide has got you covered.

Safari style is a definite must, even if you wont be ten feet away from elephants, giraffes, and rhinos this summer. Colorful beaded necklaces spice up any outfit with their tribal-esque look. For unique beaded necklaces, check out local boutiques that are sure to have a plethora of options from designers in your area. Patterned skirts are another key to cool safari style. For cheaper options, check out the skirts at Forever 21 such as these:

From Left to Right: Ethnic Woven Skirt, $14.90; Tribal Prints Skirt, $14.90

Finally, to complete to safari look, make sure to include some neutrals and chunky jewelry in the mix.

If setting sail this summer, make sure to protect yourself from harmful rays (while remaining glamourous!) by sporting big sun hats and shades. A light and breezy tunic is another essential- especially because it is so versatile! Throw it on over your swimsuit by day, or pair with your favorite pair of skinny jeans and wedges for a casual evening look. And of course, no fashion fiend can survive the summer without a cool pair (or several cool pairs!!) of sandals. Feel like a movie star but not on the same budget? No problem. Stores such as Designer Shoe Warehouse and Steve Madden have these trendy summer looks for less! Check them out online at or

Whether you will be hitting up some carnivals this season or just like the look, the Summer 2010 Shopping Guide gives us insight on how to dress the part. The festival look is all about sparkle- yes, we are talking beads, sequins and rhinestones! French Connection seemed to have hit the nail on the head with this look, as its summer line includes several bejeweled  frocks and skirts. A personal favorite is the “Fancy Dress” ($268) pictured below.

If you are more into the “surfer chic” style, make sure to sport some killer tie-dye before hitting the waves. White watches continue to be a popular (and practical!) accessory this summer, and “Toy” watches are one of the best brands (check out image below).’s “Summer 2010 Shopping Guide” offers a unique twist to the oh-so-popular cutout look. This look has now been applied to the world of bathing suits, so make sure to keep your eyes peeled for this hot trend in stores this summer!

And finally, if you are a city girl this summer, make sure your wardrobe is stocked full of simple and chic day dresses. Pair these with a comfy pair of flats and you are set to walk as many blocks as your boss may need you to to pick up his Starbucks coffee. Make sure to check out the “Summer 2010 Shopping Guide’s” Rachel Comey Agronomist dress ($265) which is super cute and easy to throw on!

Designer Profile: Tory Burch

My most recent obsession on is the designer profiles featuring some of today’s hottest creative minds. There is something absolutely thrilling about putting a face to the label and seeing a designer in real life. A recent designer profile spotlights top designer Tory Burch as she embarks on a search for the perfect playlist for an upcoming fashion show. This video reminds us of just how much behind-the-scenes work goes on in the world of fashion and how many responsibilities fall upon designers. It is interesting to see what music inspires Tory Burch and what tracks she thinks will fit best with her collection. Her bubbly and light-hearted personality is apparent in this three-minute video as she jokes with a colleague and talks to the camera while shopping for music. It is a real treat to have a sneak peak into her daily life. To check out Tory’s song search and get to know the designer on a more personal level, click here.

Spring Buyers’ Guide

As we cling to our steaming coffee while we trudge through the snow and ice, it is hard NOT to drift into thoughts about Spring and leave the biting February cold behind. Luckily for us, the web offers an escape with plenty of exciting new looks for Spring 2010. has just released their Spring Buyers’ Guide with their favorite picks for the upcoming season. The clothes and accessories they feature come from boutiques and department stores alike ranging from coast to coast. Although this winter weather can sometimes be a bit of a downer, this collection of trends is sure to cheer you right up. I know one thing is for sure- Spring 2010 will not be bland. This upcoming season is going to be all about brights and patterns. Go crazy this spring mixing patterns and sporting vivid colors- it appears that nothing is really “too much.” I am especially excited about the tie-dye that seems to be making an appearance. One of my favorite pieces in’s Spring Guide is a Tory Burch tie-dye skirt (slide 10). Pair it with a solid tank or tee, gladiator sandals and a light scarf and you have the perfect outfit for a luncheon with friends or a day of shopping. Bold jewelry is also a must for spring and the DVF bangles (slide 53) are a personal favorite. Gladiator sandals, light-weight scarves, bold zippers and one-shoulder dresses and tops will continue to be prevalent this season so feel free combine what you already own with your new purchases. Although it feels like forever until the snow will melt and we will be able to rock these trends, they are definitely worth the wait. In the meantime, warm up by checking out’s spring selections.
