Clogs: Revamped

With the onset of winter weather comes the reemergence of what was thought to be a fallen trend: the clog.  These aren’t your run of the mill clogs seen in the 70s flower power era or the ones seen accompanying images of Swedish windmills.  Designers such as Tory Burch and Chanel are revamping the clog look in a whole new and fashionable way.  It also appears that this piece is here to stay for a while since it has been seen paired with everything from Winter (faux) fur jackets to Summer frilly skirts.

Jeffrey Campbell “Snick” Platform Clog

Jeffrey Campbell has a large selection of any clog you can imagine.  This particular one is a peep-toe version with a wedge heel.  Since it is getting colder, these could be paired with a cute pair of colored or black tights.  This shoes is also offered in darker colors for the winter season.

Tory Burch “Brayden Clog”

For a somewhat pricier option, try Tory Burch’s version of the clog.  Gold detailing on the heel and studs give it a more stylish feel.  The iconic Tory Burch emblem can also be found on the top of the shoe.  My roommate has this particular pair of stunning clogs and can’t stop raving about them.

Prima Sling Clog

£30.00 ($47.03);

A slingback look is always in style and compliments this clog fabulously.  You can wear this look with skinny jeans in the Winter and take it into Spring with a flirty and flowery dress.
