The cutest shoes for spring

Spring is coming soon, and it’s almost time to trade out those stuffy boots for some cute new sandals! Show off your pedicure and let your toes breathe in these adorable new shoes.

Update last year’s flashy metallic gladiators with a fresh neutral. Aldo’s Galban sandals in bone are the perfect addition to almost any casual spring outfit. Also available in white, silver and black. $45.

If you want to add a little height, try Clarks’ Fiddle Scroll sandals in Ginger leather from Piperlime. The 3-inch cork wedge heel and foam footbed will keep you comfy while still looking good! Also in black leather. $80.

For a less pricey but still fashionable option, wear Old Navy’s braided faux leather platform wedges in brown. The faux leather does double duty by costing you less and keeping you animal-friendly! Also in black. $29.50.

For dressier outfits and nights out, try the Anne Klein Sharona heels in Pewter from Piperlime. They’re shiny and dramatic enough for nighttime, but still neutral enough to wear year-round, so you’ll be wearing these for much longer than just one season. $79.

This is why I love fashion: the sparkles, the shoes, and the near-absurdity of it all.  I’ve already heard a lot of differing opinions about these shoes – mainly concerning their practicality (these approach 10 inches!), but even about the aesthetics.  To be honest, they resemble the head of a Bedlington terrier haha.   Personally, I think they’re gorgeous, and I would consider wearing them if they were comfortable, or if ankle braces suddenly became a fashion statement… Hmm…

The Must Have Accessory: Cut-Out Heels

What’s better to go with the perfect “LBD” than a pair of fabulous heels?! High-end designers, such as Christian Louboutin, Jimmy Choo and Prada have all incorporated the “cut-out” style heel into the fall collection.  The must-have accessory can be found almost anywhere! Department stores, such as Nordstrom and Bloomingdale’s, and independent stores, such as Steve Madden and Aldo, have great selections!

So fall is here, I think we all noticed that this morning when we walked out the door.

But for some reason I’m still scared about taking my boots out of my winter closet because then it becomes a fact: it’s cold again.

But leaving my personal fears aside, when do you guys think is the right time to start wearing boots again? Is it the beginning of fall? Do you just wear them all-year-long? When do you put them back in the closet for good?

shopbop 4 Life

I’m OBSESSED. I can’t help it; I look through shopbop everyday, in every class, at all times. My name is Elizabeth Graper and I stalk shopbop. I believe that clothes are an expression of who you are, however, in my opinion you can never have too many personalities. I love to dress up but I also like to be comfortable and casual. Whether the style is girly, rock n’roll, flower power, or grunge, I love clothes.
